Day 1
GANGTOK - ARRIVAL AND TRANSFER TO GANGTOK
The representative of Travoke will greet you at the landing destination - Tenzing Norgay Bus Stand, Bagdogra Airport (IXB) or New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) and will facilitate your further journey to Gangtok. The journey to Gangtok covers a distance of approximately 126 kilometres, a 4 - 5 hour drive. On arrival check-in to the hotel. In the evening you could cherish a leisurely walk around M. G. Road (Mall) or through the local shopping centre. Overnight in Gangtok.
Day 2
EXCURSION TO CHANGU LAKE AND BABA MANDIR (FULL DAY)
After the morning breakfast at the hotel, the excursion to Changu Lake and Baba Mandir begins. It is approximately 40 kilometres, a 2-hour drive along the Kyongnosla Alpine Sanctuary. It is situated at an altitude of 12310 feet or 3753 meters. This Oval shaped Lake is almost 50 feet deep and is covered with snow for the most part of the year. It is home to the Brahmini ducks and several migratory birds. The next destination is the sacred Baba Mandir - a very holy site. Nathu La Pass to the Republic of China is nearly 20 kilometres and is an optional tour. Later the guests are transported back to the hotel at Gangtok where they can enjoy their evening. Overnight in Gangtok.
Day 3
TRANSFER TO LACHEN
Post breakfast at around 9-10 a.m, take the transfer to Lachen. Lachen, a town in the North Sikkim district is located at an elevation of 9022 feet or 2,750 meters. The distance between Gangtok and Lachen is 118 kilometres and takes around 6-7 hours to cover. On the way stop for sightseeing spots such as Tashi View Point, Naga Waterfall, the confluence of Lachen Chu and Lachung Chu at Chungthang. Travellers may have their lunch at Mangan/Chungthang/Namok. Reach Lachen by evening and spend the evening at leisure. Overnight in Lachen.
Day 4
THANGU, CHOPTA VALLEY, GURUDONGMAR LAKE(OPTIONAL) EXCURSION AND TRANSFER TO LACHUNG
Leave early and proceed to Thangu Village, a very remote high altitude hamlet and Chopta Valley. Chopta Valley is known for its flowers. Both Yumthang and Chopta erupts in a riot of colours during the months of March, April and May. On the other hand, if you are visiting during the winter months then you could play in the snow or even walk across the meandering Chopta River.

Gurudongmar Lake(optional) is considered sacred by the Buddhists, Hindus as well as the Sikhs. The lake is named after Guru Padmasambhava. Head back to Lachen after spending half an hour to one hour here.

After having lunch visit the Lachen Monastery and start your journey to Lachung via Chungthang. Visit Bhim Nala Waterfalls on the road to Lachung from Chungthang. On arrival at Lachung check-in to the hotel. The evening is at leisure. Overnight in Lachung.
Day 5
YUMTHANG VALLEY EXCURSION AND TRANSFER TO GANGTOK
Yumthang Valley also known as the Valley of Flowers is situated at an altitude of 11,800 feet or 3,597 meters and is at a distance of 24 kilometres from Lachung. The folklore says that Yumthang is the grazing ground of yaks in summers and playground of Yetis in winter. Zero Point or Yumesamdong is an optional tour, this is no motorable road beyond this point and civilians are not allowed to go further due to the proximity to the Chinese border. The drive back from Yumthang Valley includes a visit to the Hot Spring, which is believed to have medicinal benefits. The excursion will end at the hotel for lunch.

Post lunch drive to Gangtok. The return journey will include a visit to the Bheema and Twin Falls (if time permits). The day will end with check-in at the hotel in Gangtok. Overnight in Gangtok.
Day 6
GANGTOK CITY TOUR (FULL DAY)
The day will begin with a sumptuous breakfast. The sightseeing tour will be in the form of an easy and relaxed drive. The tour will include a visit to the Directorate of Handicrafts and Handloom, Research Institute of Tibetology, Do Drul Chorten Stupa, Flower Show, Ganesh Tok, Banjhakri Falls, Rumtek Monastery, Botanical Garden and Shanti View Point. From here you will be transported back to the hotel. In the evening you have free time to indulge in shopping or enjoy your time at any of the numerous pubs/discotheques in town. Overnight in Gangtok.
Day 7
DEPARTURE
Post breakfast check-out from the hotel and take the departure transfer to Tenzing Norgay Bus Stand, Bagdogra Airport (IXB) or New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) approximately 135 kilometres, a 4½ - 5 hour drive for your onward journey with memories of the exceptionally good vacation.
